Generational poverty is caused by many factors that may or may not be in the control of the individual that poverty effects. Factors that may cause poverty may include family structure, poor school performance in early school years, job opportunity, teen pregnancy, family needs, and poor health.
Dysfunctions in any of the above institutions may guide the person effected to live in the hardships of poverty. Once the women are struck by poverty it is hard to escape it. Escaping poverty may be impossible for a woman and her children. Many tribulation may cause her to conform to the life in poverty whether she wants to or not.
